Academic
- All teachers at the Emerald Cultural Institute have university
degrees and are trained to teach English as a Foreign Language. Many
have additional qualifications in specialist subject areas.
- Our teachers take
a keen interest in students' progress which is also regularly monitored
by the Director of Studies. Teachers
also participate in training seminars and attend regular meetings
to discuss course content.
- Most of our teachers have lived and worked as teachers abroad and
have first-hand knowledge of other cultures, customs and traditions.
Accommodation
- Students at the Emerald Cultural Institute are assured of personal
attention at all times. In addition to the academic and administrative
staff, we have a full-time Accommodation Officer. She and her team
are always on hand to answer any questions students might have regarding
any aspect of their accommodation.

Student Welfare
- We have a permanent Student Welfare Officer at the institute who
operates the institute's ongoing social & cultural programme
and who is always on hand to answer student's questions. These can
range from help with renewing a visa application, to providing information
on places to go in Ireland, to explaining particular Irish customs
and habits, to simply sharing some time talking.
